What is the role?
a role is an object that model the type of work user is expected to perform in the group

- A role can be assigned to multiple groups
- Role added another layer of data access control.
- Roles are created along function line
- You create roles to reflect the skills and responsibilities of the users.
Activity user can perform with DBA Role :
- Create, modify, and delete role definition.
- Add existing roles to the Organization tree.
- Add new roles to the Organization tree.
- Assign a default rule within a group.
How to create a role in Teamcenter?
- Select the top-level Roles node from the Organization List tree.
- type a role in Role box and write a description.
- Click Create.
